Security Core Curriculum
A Security Core Curriculum is defined, consisting of seven security sciences and technologies courses. This Core is central to the new ISLET degree while also serving as building blocks for other security discipline curriculum and in some cases, for non-security related programs. This Core is the focus for the NSF funding request.
Security Core Curriculum Components
- Homeland Defense
- Forensic Science
- Computer Forensics
- Interview, Interrogation and Investigation
- Forensic Imaging
- Crime and Incident Mapping
- Hazardous Awareness
New Courses Underway
The seven core areas map to new courses at Century:
