About the ISLET Initiative:

The Investigative Sciences and Law Enforcement Technology (ISLET) Initiative is a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project being undertaken to strengthen science and technology education for Law Enforcement through curriculum, certification, degree, and continuing education program enhancements designed to improve the ability of the Law Enforcement workforce to detect, deter, defend, and diagnose threats to Homeland Security.

The ISLET
Program Site:

Students or current Law Enforcement practitioners can review the ISLET Program Site to learn about opportunities to pursue Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Computer Forensics, and other Investigations-related education and career opportunities.

A key outcome of the ISLET Initiative is significant change to the Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Degree programs, with new degrees providing increasingly relevant Science and Technology core skills to practioners.
